Paragliding in Bolivia is exhilarating and relaxing. Requires no previous experience or special skills. We offer tandem flights in the southern La Paz area that make for a great half day out with great views of Illimani mountain. Your tandem flight will be with an experienced pilot who has hundreds of previous flights and treats safety as a priority

There is no minimum requirement for these tour but there is a maximum amount (usually about 6 people) that can go on each trip. Flights are in the mornings as this is when weather conditions are usually best.

The tourist bus «Sightseeing» will allow you to this wonderful city and will have a complete view from a comfortable bus, with bucket seats, a modern audio system and a panoramic floor that allows you to make the best pictures of La Paz.

A sophisticated audio equipment, allows the story is simultaneously in 7 languages (Spanish, English, German, French, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese) with 13,300 words in 174 paragraphs.

The guide commands the story to advance according to traffic, so each paragraph of the explanation is accurate as you go watching.

This one-day option 2 days  singletrack downhill ride to the village of Sorata takes you from La Paz into a deep, fertile valley at the foot of majestic Mt. Illampu (6400m) through a secret trail with jaw-dropping views of the Andes mountains and the lush valleys of Los Yungas below.

Prepare to have your concept of Downhill Mountain Biking through stunning scenery challenged.

DESCRIPTION

Our guides have been riding the trails around Sorata for more than 5 years

Our designated guide for the day will meet you in La Paz early morning along with our private vehicle and top-notch mountain bikes. You will be provided with full-face helmets, riding gloves, elbow and knee guards.

Our vehicle equipped with great music and a fully-responsible driver will take you past the town of El Alto en route to Lake Titicaca across the vast Altiplano (highlands) and along the Cordillera Real (Royal Mountain Range). The drive will take approximately 3 hrs before you arrive at an elevation of around 4.500m among snow-capped mountains.

Immediately after a safety briefing, plunge into the massive valley below through a secret singletrack trail with steep descents, berms, drops, jumps and great challenging obstacles We will literally have this ride for ourselves.

All in all, we will have descended around 3.000 meters! (10.000ft) before we arrive in the quaint village of Sorata for a well-deserved lunch.  Finally re come back to  La Paz to arrive in the evening. This will be one of the most memorable downhill mountain biking ride you will ever experience in your life.

Madidi’s never been closer than now!

The only Jungle Tour that starts from La Paz (or Coroico), the only Jungle Tour in Bolivia and South Am that will show you all the layers of the Jungle. The only Jungle Tour where you’ll be in close contact with the Rainforest becauseyou will not only get beautiful guided walks in the Rainforest, you will get different scenery from the boat all the time and you will see an area of Madidi National Park that nobody else does . On this tour you will see the upper and lower sections of the Cloud Forest and the upper, intermediate and lower sections of the amazing Deep Rainforest. Only on this tour you will go straight through a Jungle Canyon with cliffs 200 m high.

Departure 13:00 . (2.5 hrs drive)

14:45 to 15.00 pick up from Coroico’s main Plaza across from the Church. A transfer will be organised by us to take you from Coroico’s Plaza to the main road to join the group. Here we wait until 17:00 for the road that is under construction to be open. 3 hours drive to dinner

21:00 Last 2.5 hours to the River where you will be taken to a Hostel.

[wp-svg-icons icon=»paste» wrap=»i»] 2nd day.- 09:30 Departure from the Boat Starting Point and head to a sided canyon (1 hr) where we will have our first walk in the Rainforest (2hrs). This Upper Rainforest is full of Rubber Trees and we will have the chance to swim in a beautiful Natural Pool.

By the time we come back lunch will be ready and we will get on the boat again (3hrs) to one of the beautiful isolated sandy beaches.

We sleep at one of the communities during the Wet season (Dec-April) No beaches available.

[wp-svg-icons icon=»paste» wrap=»i»] 3rd day.- 08:00 We will get on the boat again for a long lap onboard (4 hrs) We’re going to have lunch on the boat.

Then we will have a walk in the Flat Low Rainforest of Madidi National Park (3 hrs).

During the walk, our guide will explain about the Rainforest, the uses of the different types of trees and other tips about the Jungle. We will get on the boat again (1.5 hrs) and this time we’re going to have one of the most impressive experiences of our lives; we will pass through the most exuberant steep sided canyon.

We will also visit a farm of a local for you to try some fruits straight from the tree. 1 more hour on the boat and we will get to the campsite.

After dinner you’ll have the Amazing Night Walk in the Jungle (1.5 Hrs.)

We will get on the boat and from the boat Clay cliffs can be seen where frequently Macaws are found.

Also the famous El Bala Canyon where Chinese wanted to build a dam and flood 1 million square hectares. Thank god that’s not going to happen in the near future.

Our last ride downstream to Rurrenabaque takes about 1 hrs. so we will have lunch onboard always with superb Primary Rainforest on the sides of the river.

By then you will have seen the upper and lower sections of the Cloud Forest; the upper, intermediate and lower sections of the Rainforest. Believe it or not! No other tour gives you the chance to see all the stages of the Jungle.

13:00 to 14:00 Arrival at Rurrenabaque.

We can include English Speaking Guide or interpreter for 100 usd extra to be paid by the group not per person and for the whole tour. Note that the entire group must agree with this fact.

LUGGAGE?

You can bring all of your staff. We put your rucksack at the front of the boat covered with plastic.

Note that all your clothes must be in sealed plastic bags.

CAMERAS & POWER

There´s no power access to recharge camera batteries once the tour has started, so please make sure your batteries are well charged or better yet bring an extra battery.

WATER

We take water containers for days 2 & 3.
